Joy McCall, LCSW, OSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker assisting general medical oncology patients. She previously worked with the Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Center at Winship, providing support to patients and families there for five years before moving to her current role.
As part of her education, Ms. McCall completed an internship with the Marcus Institute working in the pediatric feeding unit; and an internship counseling individuals and couples at Families First, supporting families and children facing challenges to build strong family bonds and stability for their future. She also interned at Winship where she worked with patients who were undergoing treatment for breast cancer, gynecologic cancer, brain cancer and melanoma. She previously worked with individuals with developmental disabilities for over four years providing support to families and caregivers.
Education
Ms. McCall graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia.
